A.) Install QUIET BARRIER™ Sound Blocking Material to the stud framing with 1 1/4 in. roofing nails. For ease of installation use a pneumatic roofing nail gun. Use our Acoustic Sealant to seal gaps and our vinyl Barrier Tape™ for seams.

B.) Attach 5/8 in. gypsum board (Drywall) with 1 5/8 in. drywall screws through the QUIET BARRIER™ into the wood studs. Leave a 1/4 in. gap around the perimeter of the new wall. Use our Acoustic Sealant to fill the gap and to seal around electrical outlets.
